International Development Studies Awards

Every winter, students in the International Development major are invited to apply for the following graduation awards:

Excellence in International Development Studies Prize

Awarded on the basis of academic excellence and demonstrated service to the community. Apply by letter (no more than two pages), outlining university and off-campus community service activities in Canada and abroad, to the attention of the "Director of International Development Studies".

Submit applications electronically by March 17th to the International Development Studies office at ids@uoguelph.ca.

Qualification(s): Students registered in their final year of studies in the Bachelor of Arts program majoring in International Development who will be graduating in June, or who have graduated in the previous two convocations, with a minimum cumulative average of 80% in the previous two years of study.

International Development Studies Prizes

Awarded annually to an outstanding student in each of the seven areas of emphasis in the International Development major. These prizes are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and demonstrated service to the community. Apply by letter (no more than two pages), outlining university and off-campus community service activities in Canada and abroad, to the attention of the "Director of International Development Studies".
